Transport Management, also known as transport and logistics management, is the study of the transportation of persons and goods from one place to another. It is, however, more than just shipping goods around the world by land, train, sea, or air. It also investigates the production, demand, delivery, and acquisition operations.

A Transport Management degree offers a thorough analysis of the movement of persons and goods, as well as the approaches used to analyse and measure transportation issues. It covers topics like economic and management decisions, organisational behaviour, marketing management, operations and materials management, business communication, introduction to logistics and supply chain management, accounting in logistics, multi-model transportation, transport laws, and supplier relationship management among many others.

In addition to expertise in the Transportation Management System (TMS) and other strategic business tools, these courses aim to improve transferable skills such as critical thinking, solution-based strategy, constructive communicating, and negotiation skills.
